Amanda Lindoo has joined the team! Dr Lindoo received her PhD from University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 2020, and spent time as a postdoctoral research associate at the Carnegie Institute (Washington, USA) and at University of Bristol (UK). Amanda brings a wealth of high-pressure, high-temperature experimental expertise, as well as lots of experience in interpreting volcanic rock textures. Amanda is currently running piston cylinder experiments to explore how plagioclase grain shape changes with cooling rate in different melts.
